Pre-Stressed Disc Springs
DIN 2093 disc springs are manufactured to close tolerances and are made from high-quality spring steel strip and forgings. The disc springs are pre-stressed (scragged), and the machining and radiusing of the inside and outside diameters remove stress raisers, which could otherwise reduce the disc spring's fatigue life.TORQUE CALCULATION
Use the following torque calculation to determine the correct Belleville disc spring part number.Imperial: (ft. - lbs.) = .2 x Bolt Diameter (in.) x Load (lbs.) / 12
Metric: (N-m) = .2 x Bolt Diameter (mm) x Load (N) / 1000
