This past weekend, Solon was proud to take part in one of Northeast Ohio’s most beloved spring traditions, the Geauga County Maple Festival in Chardon, Ohio. With sunshine, syrup, and plenty of hometown pride, our team showed up in full force for some friendly competition and community fun.

We were especially honored to be featured on the front page of the Geauga County Maple Leaf, highlighted in their coverage of the festival’s iconic bathtub races (read the article here). It is not every day you see a wheeled bathtub racing down Main Street, let alone with your coworkers in it.

Our team gave it their all, taking second place in one of the bathtub races and showing up strong in the tug-of-war competition. The support from the crowd made the day even more special.

Beyond the competitions, the weekend was a chance to celebrate community and tradition. From pancake breakfasts to maple treats, the festival was full of energy, and we were thrilled to be part of it.

Huge thanks to everyone who raced, pulled, cheered, and helped organize!
